Dom
Ruinart Rosé 1990 Champagne
This great champagne, always a vintage,
can be identified at first glance by its sustained yellow
orange colour. From a noble line of Chardonnay grapes,
Dom Ruinart Rosé benefits from a complex taste
thanks to the small proportion of Pinot Noir in the
blend.

Just like the Dom Ruinart, the Dom Ruinart Rosé
is made principally from the finest chardonnay to which
a percentage of red wines, coming from the pinot noir
of champagne, has been added. The resulting colour is
tinged with gold, the aromas expressive and complex.
Blend
Blend of 85% Grand Cru Chardonnay and 15% Grand Cru
Pinot Noir from Verzenay and Verzy fully vinified as
red wine.
Appearance
Orange colour with a copperish tinge and veering towards
the colour of cognac. Beautiful clarity and striking
brilliance. Constant stream of fine bubbles rising to
the surface.
Nose
A complex and rich nose whose variety of aromas evolves
with the temperature of the wine.
The first nose is dominated by hints of soft and cooked
fruits; followed by smoky notes, Virginia tobacco and
tanned leather.
Taste
This wine is surprisingly fresh for a 13 years old cuvée.
Full-bodied and powerful.
Rich and complex aromas on the nose are confirmed in
the mouth with a perfect balance between fruity notes,
tobacco and spices. Long and persistent finish.
